Geirangerfjord
See, feel and taste one of Norway's most spectacular fjords on a one-hour cruise.
Travel through the UNESCO-listed Geirangerfjord, surrounded by towering mountains, abandoned fjord farms and waterfalls cascading from steep cliffs into the deep-blue water below.
The highlight of the experience is a special stop beside Friaren—The Suitor—where you can taste fresh mountain water collected directly from the waterfall.

Experience Geirangerfjord from the Water
Geirangerfjord is famous for its dramatic landscape, created by glaciers over thousands of years. The best way to appreciate its scale is from the water.
As the boat leaves Geiranger, the village gradually disappears behind you and the mountains rise higher on both sides. Along the way, you will enjoy panoramic views of steep rock walls, green mountain farms and some of the fjord's most celebrated waterfalls.
The cruise offers excellent opportunities for photography and allows you to experience the landscape from both spacious outdoor decks and a comfortable indoor saloon.

Taste Water from Friaren Waterfall
The boat makes a special stop beside Friaren, also known as The Suitor.
Here, you can taste pure mountain water flowing directly from the waterfall. The water originates from melting snow and glaciers and is naturally filtered through ancient rock before reaching the fjord.
It is a simple but memorable way to connect with the natural landscape—to see the waterfall, feel its cool spray and taste the fresh water of Geirangerfjord.

Famous Waterfalls and Fjord Farms
During the cruise, look out for some of Geirangerfjord's most recognisable attractions:
- Friaren – The Suitor
- The Seven Sisters waterfalls
- The Bridal Veil
- Historic farms on the steep mountainsides
- Dramatic cliffs and panoramic fjord scenery
The waterfalls are especially powerful during spring and early summer, when melting snow brings additional water down from the surrounding mountains.

The Legend of the Seven Sisters and the Suitor
According to local folklore, the Seven Sisters dance playfully down one side of the fjord while the Suitor watches from the opposite mountainside.
The Suitor repeatedly asked the sisters to marry him, but each one refused. Heartbroken, he turned to drink—which is said to explain the bottle-shaped formation visible within the waterfall.
Your journey through the fjord brings you directly into the landscape that inspired this famous Norwegian legend.
